KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- The Unified Government's Board of Commissions voted unanimously to waive building permit fees and sanitary sewer connection fees for the construction of new single-family resident homes.
The program is open for business until Dec. 31, 2015.
The idea is to generate more interest in attracting homeowners to Wyandotte County, as the fee waiver could help builders save thousands of dollars.
