KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- There is both a primary election and general election this spring.
Below is timeline information from the Unified Government.
City Primary Election is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2015 for voters who reside in the city of Kansas City, Kansas only.
Last day to register is Tuesday, February 10th at the close of business.
We will begin mailing Advance Voting ballots on Wednesday, February 11th.
Advance Voting In-Person begins Saturday, February 21st, and is scheduled as follows:
Election Office
- Saturday, February 21, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Sunday, February 22 - closed
- Monday through Friday, February 23-27, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, February 28, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Sunday, March 1 - closed
Satellite (Kansas Speedway Conference Center)
- Monday, March 2, 8 a.m. to Noon
- Saturday, February 21 and February 28, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
City General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, 2015 for all voters - countywide.
- Monday through Friday, February 23-27, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Public Test of the voting equipment will be conducted on Tuesday, March 31st beginning at 9 a.m. and will continue until completed. The testing will take place at the

The Official Canvass will be held on Monday, April 13th at 9:00 a.m. at the Election Office.
