Pledger charged with involuntary manslaughter

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- Tamika Pledger has been charged with involuntary manslaughter following the death of one of the four teenagers she allegedly hit with her vehicle on Jan. 30.

Tierra Smith died last Friday after she was hit on Jan. 30 on the 1300 Block of Troup Avenue. Three other teenagers remain in the hospital.

Before Smith died, Pledger was charged with reckless aggravated battery on Feb. 1.
