KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- Kenny Hitt, Enterprise Bank & Trust senior vice president, consumer banking, announced the expansion project of its full-service branch located at 151 S. 18th Street in Kansas City, Kan., is complete.
The branch expansion added a total of 1,073 square feet to the space, and the location now totals 2,646 square feet. The added space consists of an expanded lobby, an additional office, children’s area and extra workspace in the common area.
“The branch has experienced success in this market. By the end of 2014, it exceeded its checking account goal by 100 percent, doubling anticipated balances,” said Hitt. “Furthermore, 72 percent of the checking deposit balances were from small business clients.”
Hitt explained that since opening this branch on February 3, 2014, Enterprise Bank & Trust has gained 1,000 new customers and has helped 38 consumers obtain first mortgage loans.
This branch, located within the Prescott Plaza shopping center was Enterprise Bank & Trust’s first location in Kansas City, Kan. This branch serves the surrounding community including businesses in the Fairfax Industrial District.
This location also features a bi-lingual staff and offers services designed for the Hispanic community. Services offered at this branch include personal accounts, business accounts, mortgages and an ATM.
“The branch expansion has enabled us serve our customers more efficiently and comfortably,” said Hidy Ortiz, branch manager. “The customer and community feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and we’ve had business owners immediately open accounts with us after they saw the new space. They understand the bank is invested in the community and here to stay.”
The leasing agent and general contractor for this project was Colliers International which has a local office in Kansas City, Mo.
