He will begin his new role after this school year.
“This new dedicated alumni position will allow us to focus on our most valuable resource –our amazing alumni base! With Greg’s knowledge of our alumni, this community and our school needs, we are pleased to have him join the development department. He is a real gift to our school,” said Reverend Thomas Schrader, O. Carm., President of Bishop Ward.
As Head Football Coach, Dean of Students and Athletic Director, Duggins has shaped the moral character of hundreds of students while helping them achieve academic excellence.
He attended Emporia State University on a football scholarship and received a bachelor’s degree in education in 1988.
In 1995, he received his master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Kansas.
With over 10,000 alumni in the Kansas City metro area, Duggins will work to engage and ignite the Cyclone spirit among alumni everywhere.
“As an alumnus myself, I know the passion that so many of us have for the tradition and future of the school. I am excited for this opportunity to make new relationships and rekindle others within the Bishop Ward community. Bishop Ward is my home and I can’t imagine being anywhere else,” said Duggins.
