Kansas City Kansas Fire Department has already run two (2) cold exposure calls within the last 24 hours, requiring transport of the patients to local area hospital. These two individuals were seen by passer byes who called 911.
We are asking the public to be mindful of those less fortunate.
To check on their elderly neighbors during these upcoming cold winter months, and be aware of their pets needs too during extreme cold weather.
