Enroll Wyandotte is hosting a Health Fair and Enrollment Event this weekend, in an effort to help residents through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Mayor Mark Holland will address local media to share impact data from the 2013/2014 enrollment period, and discuss the initiative moving forward.
Volunteers will be available to answer questions in both English and Spanish about the Affordable Care Act, and to assist with the application process.
The deadline for individual enrollment is February 15, 2015. Screening services will also be available, including blood pressure, body mass index, and blood sugar checks. The event is open to the public and child care will be provided for attendees.
