KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- Eastbound I-70 right lane from 134th Street to K-7 will be closed for ramp construction work, 24/7 round the clock, beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 1 and reopening to all traffic at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, weather permitting.
This work is part of Phase 1 construction for the ultimate ten-phase K-7 & I-70 Interchange Project in Wyandotte County.

The Kansas Department of Transportation urges all motorists to be alert, obey the warning signs, and “Give ‘Em a Brake!” when approaching and driving through the project work zone.
The overall Phase 1 project work is scheduled to be completed by late Fall 2014, weather permitting.
