KANSAS CITY, KAN.— The most successful Fantasy Camp in the National Football League is looking for new participants.
The Kansas City Chiefs Fantasy camp last year drew 67 fans from around the country to the two day event last May, and proved to be a great success in fan and player enjoyment, as well as raising money for the Center for Concussion Management at The University of Kansas Hospital.
The Center for Concussion Management will again be the beneficiary for year two of the event on May 14th and 15th in 2015.
Reservations for the camp opened up today (November 2nd). Tickets are $2,000 each with a portion of proceeds being tax deductible.
Proceeds support The Center for Concussion Management at The University of Kansas Hospital.
Again this year, former quarterback Trent Green serves as a co-chair of the event, which will bring back former Chiefs to lead participants in football skill drills such as passing and kicking.
The big event is are flag football games with a former Chief leading each team.
The 2014 event brought people from across the United States who have been waiting for such a program, and of course many Chiefs fans.
Participants ranked the event highly but as for dreams of being discovered…Chiefs Coach Andy Reid said last year he didn’t see any skills that approached a pro level.
