KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- Woodland Road to eastbound K-10 entrance ramp will be closed to all traffic beginning after morning rush hour on Friday, October 24 and reopening to all traffic in early December 2014, weather permitting.
The ramp will be closed to help alleviate traffic congestion issues related to a lane reduction for repair work underway on the adjacent Mill Creek bridge project, located just east of Woodland Road (see map above).
Advance message boards will alert traffic to the ramp closure. No marked detour provided.
Suggested alternate route for Woodland Road traffic: Take Woodland Road north to Prairie Star Parkway then east on Prairie Star Parkway and then continue east on 95th Street to I-435.Drivers will need to use alternate routes during the ramp closure.
