KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- Lamount A. Ford, 16, was sentenced to 12 years and 11 months in prison this week for killing a woman.
Ford was sentenced this week in Wyandotte County District Court. Ford pleaded guilty earlier this year to a second-degree murder charge.
Nola Pierce, 28, was killed outside a home in the 1200 Block of Everett Avenue on July 25, 2013. Ford was initially charged as a juvenile in the case.
However, he was ordered to be tried as an adult by a judge.
