KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department is investigating a death that happened on Independence Day.
Police discovered a black male on the 4100 Block of Waverly Avenue just after 9 p.m. on July 4. He was described as a man in his early 30's.
According to police, he was shot to death.
