KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- Three maintenance workers were taken to a hospital after a pool pump explosion at an apartment complex in Kansas City, Kan.
The accident happened early Tuesday afternoon at 640 Garfield Court, according to the Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department.
All three do not have life-threatening injuries and are expected to recover.
One of the workers inhaled chlorine, while another was struck by a shrapnel. The third worker was injured due to pool chemicals entering the worker's eye.
