KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- Eastbound I-70 right two lanes over 38th Street bridge, eastbound I-70 to 38th Street exit ramp and the northbound I-635 to eastbound I-70 entrance ramp will be closed for bridge pavement repair work by the Kansas Turnpike Authority, 24/7 round the clock, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 8 and will reopen to traffic sometime on Wednesday, June 11, weather permitting.
Advance message boards will direct northbound I-635 traffic to detour via I-635 to the Parallel Parkway interchange and back on southbound I-635 to eastbound I-70.
Traffic will be directed through the project work zone via signage and cones. Drivers should expect minor delays during their daily commutes.
