Police called to Washington High School after students plan protest

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- For the second time this week, Kansas City, Kan., police were called out to a high school in KCK.

Officers were called to Washington High School after students at the school announced plans to protest the district.

The issue revolves around a $50 fee seniors had to pay in order to walk at graduation and help contribute to "senior rewards." The fee would contribute to the graduation class' senior picnic.

Below is a message that is spreading around on Facebook.
