KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- An individual involved in a police standoff Friday with Kansas City, Kan., police officers was found dead late Friday night.
The standoff lasted over four hours at the apartment complex near Kansas City Kansas Community College.
The dead body was discovered by a robot that was sent inside the home near the end of the standoff.
According to police, the standoff began after the suspect exchanged gunfire with police in the area.
Outside of the suspect, no one was injured in the case. However, people who were playing soccer and attending classes at the college were evacuated from the campus as the standoff began.
