KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- Erwin Potts, 51, was killed in a car accident early Thursday on Interstate 635 near Parallel Parkway.
The accident happened between 5 and 5:30 a.m. on Thursday morning. Potts was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said one of the tires separated from the vehicle, causing the crash. The vehicle entered a ditch and overturned.
Potts was taken to a hospital, where he later passed away.
