KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- I spotted an interesting graphic on Unified Government Commissioner Ann Murguia's Facebook page this week.
The areas in red are homes and businesses that have not paid property taxes in the past four years. The blue areas are property in the county's land bank.

As Wyandotte County continues to face budget issues, this is something to keep in mind.
Meanwhile, Murguia announced three specific goals for her district:
1) Reduce the number of property tax delinquent properties in my district by 50% in 1 year.
2) Increase the property tax collected in my district by $5 million in 1 year by increasing the number of tax paying businesses and residential properties.
3) Create 500 new jobs in 1 year.
