Summer Culinary Arts Classes Starting Soon at KCKCC
KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- There is still time to register for the new Culinary Arts Program that begins June 3 at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Culinary Arts teaches students to master the fundamental skills of food service in hotels, restaurants, hospitals, catering, etc. The program contains daily classroom instruction with practical experience in food service preparation for public meetings and banquets.
Among the various classes within the program are Cooking Methods, International Cooking, Customer Service, Beginning and Advanced Baking, Menu Marketing and Planning and Hospitality and Restaurant Management. Students must complete 40 credit hours to complete the program, which is based in the new state-of-the-art Professional Cooking Lab at KCKCC’s Technical Education Center.
