KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- Kansas City, Kan., resident Daniel Barlett pleaded guilty today to voluntary manslaughter in connection to the shooting death of Chad Ford.
Ford was shot and killed on the 1300 Block of N. 47th Street on Sept. 24, 2012.
In March 2014, Ford was Barlett was convicted of criminal discharge of a firearm, but the jury was hung on the first degree murder charge.
Sentencing is set for May 30, 2014.
