KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- While school will be out across Wyandotte County on Wednesday, the Unified Government and Board of Utilities will re-open for business.
Both the UG and BPU will have a delayed opening tomorrow. Both offices will open at 10 a.m.
Here are more openings and closings tomorrow in relation to the UG and BPU:
Unified Government offices will open to the public tomorrow morning, Wednesday, February 5th at 10:00 a.m. This delayed opening will provided City personnel time to focus on clearing parking lots and sidewalks for safe entry into government office buildings.
The Board of Public Utilities has also announced a delayed opening. The lobby is scheduled to open for business at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The Wyandotte County District Court and all District Court offices will remain closed on Wednesday.
Municipal Court is schedule to open at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. All hearings for tickets or fines scheduled for the afternoon docket will be handled during this time. All hearings scheduled for the morning docket, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., will be handle the same time the following Wednesday, February 12th.
The KCATA and Unified Government Transit will begin running routes at 10:30 a.m. in Kansas City, Kansas only.
