KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- Two men were arrested following a shooting that happened Thursday morning on the 7400 Block of Oakland.
Police were called out to a shooting investigation Thursday after a homeowner was shot while warming up a vehicle.

Officer Thomas Tomasic said the suspects and the homeowner exchanged gunfire before the suspects exited the car and ran off.
"We are unsure if either of the suspects were hit," Tomasic said.
Police investigators used a K-9 unit and followed foot steps in the snow to the Legend Oaks Apartments. After knocking on several doors, police found two men who matched the suspect description inside of one of the apartments. Police took the men into custody.
