KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Kansas City T-Bones announced they have signed outfielder Bryan Sabatella to a contract for the 2014 season.
Sabatella, 29 (11-01-84), a native of Aquebogue, NY who is 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, spent the last two-plus seasons with the New Jersey Jackals of the Can-Am League.
In 2013, he hit .291 with 105 hits, 10 home runs, 47 RBIs and 33 stolen bases in 98 games. He is a career .303 hitter with 985 hits, 61 homers, 460 RBIs and 280 stolen bases in nine professional seasons.

“Bryan is a very athletic outfielder who can play all three positions,” said T-Bones manager John Massarelli. “He’s put up great numbers during his career, showing that he has consistent pop in his bat, he can run and he’s durable. Right now I project him as a middle-of-the-lineup guy and playing right field every day.”
Seattle selected Sabatella, who bats and throws right, in the ninth round of the 2005 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Quinnipiac College.
He spent two years in the Mariners organization, reaching high-A in 2006. He has played for four independent teams since 2007.
