KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- The Unified Government and Board of Public Utilities will be holding a special joint meeting next Thursday.
The meeting will be held at City Hall in Kansas City, Kan. Members from both governing bodies will discuss BPU's $250 million capital improvement that are needed to comply with regulations from the Environmental Protection Agency.
No action is expected to be taken --- only a presentation.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. and will be held inside the commission's chamber. It will also be broadcast live on UGTV.
