More than 40 attend KCKCC Alumni Baseball Weekend

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- Kansas City Kansas Community College’s first Alumni Baseball Weekend in 30 years proved to be a rousing success.
“We had more than 40 players show up,” said Steve Burleson, who sent the alums through a lengthy batting practice and an 8-inning game Saturday. “I was really in awe of how well the guys swung the bats and ran the bases.”
Four members of the 1976 World Series team inducted into the Blue Devil Sports Hall of Fame this past year – head coach Dave Klein and players Barry Davies, Ed Hernandez and Steve Rezin.
