KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Red Friday, the annual spirit buildup to the home opener of the Kansas City Chiefs, was particularly fun at The University of Kansas Hospital today.
Hospital President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Page was joined by Chiefs General Manager John Dorsey in the early morning hours to sell Red Friday magazine as a fund raiser for the Ronald McDonald House.
The partnership between the two organizations was clearly evident just after daybreak with John Dorsey gave Bob Page a “pep talk”.
The Red Friday event came about 12 hours after the hospital and football club celebrated the opening of the Center for Sports Medicine at the Truman Sports Complex. The hospital is the official healthcare provider for the Kansas City Chiefs.
