KANSAS CITY, KAN. --- One person was injured in a car accident at 2039 N. 7th Street Trafficway on Wednesday morning.
Kansas City, Kan., firefighters hit the scene at around 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday morning after receiving a call about a car accident.
The driver of the vehicle, described as a "male in his 50's," was transported to the hospital and is listed in serious condition as of noon on Sept. 25.
"Crews responded to a motor vehicle accident report with the possibility of vehicle on fire," said Craig Duke of the Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department. "Crews on the scene within three minutes reported vehicle had struck parked car and parked car had caught fire."
No one else was injured in the accident.
The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
