A ceremony will be held Friday morning for the dedication of the Downtown MetroCenter.
The metro-center, which is located at 7th and Minnesota, will be dedicated at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Officials from the Unified Government, the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority and Mid-America Regional Council will mark the dedication.
The event will be held on the southeast corner of 7th Street and Minnesota Avenue.
