Youth soccer activities begin at 5 p.m. /MLS inflatable jersey on display 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on July 29th.
A free Community Family Soccer Festival highlighted by the showing of the 2013 MLS All-Star Soccer Game will be hosted by Kansas City Kansas Community College Wednesday, July 31.
If you don’t have tickets to the MLS All-Star Game to be played at Sporting Park, the air-conditioned KCKCC Field House with a big screen TV will provide the perfect venue to watch the best the MLS has to offer.
The Festival will kick off at 5 p.m. with a series of youth soccer activities on the new KCKCC soccer field along with various giveaways, a mini-family expo and concessions. The activities will continue up until the start of the MLS All-Star Game which will kick off at 8:30 p.m.
In addition, the MLS All-Star inflatable jersey will be on the new KCKCC soccer field from 10 a.m.-2 p.m on Monday, July 29th. The display will provide an excellent photo opportunity for kids and adults alike. There will also be a canned food collection station available for donations.
Co-sponsors of the event with KCKCC include Providence Medical Center, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City, the KCK Chamber of Commerce and the City of Kansas City Kansas.
