The annual Historic Westheight Neighborhood Garage Sale in Kansas City, Kansas, will take place on Saturday, June 15. Residents will welcome visitors to the sale starting at 8 a.m. It will be up to the individual residents when they want to end their sales.
Westheight is located north of State Ave. in KCK. The main entrance to the neighborhood is off North 18th St. at Washington Blvd. Yard signs will indicate the residents holding garage sales, and maps to participating homes will be available at each home.
The Historic Westheight Neighborhood Association, a voluntary organization, is sponsoring and coordinating the event. Residents will handle their own sales, and proceeds will go to the residents.
Westheight is an historic neighborhood. Most of the homes in Westheight were built in the 1920’s and 1930’s. Come to the garage sale, drive through the neighborhood, and enjoy the variety of architecture, landscaping and beautiful streets.
