In the winter that refuses to die, we could have one more big blast of snow.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for this weekend. According to the National Weather Service, we could see 6-10 inches of snow this weekend.

- LOCATION...THIS STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO IMPACT THE ENTIRE FORECAST AREA.
- TIMING...PRECIPITATION WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST ON THE DAY SATURDAY. TEMPERATURES AT THE ONSET OF PRECIPITATION HOWEVER WILL BE TOO WARM TO SUPPORT ACCUMULATING SNOW DURING THE DAY SATURDAY. ACCUMULATING SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN SATURDAY EVENING WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW FALLING LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. SNOW IS EXPECTED TO TAPER OFF SUNDAY NIGHT FROM WEST TO EAST.
- SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS BETWEEN 6 TO 10 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
- IMPACTS...SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE ON ROADS BEGINNING SATURDAY NIGHT CAUSING ROADS TO BECOME SNOW PACKED AND SLICK. SNOWFALL MAY ALSO REDUCE VISIBILITY AT TIMES PRODUCING HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.
