Webphibian is looking for a talented web developer/programmer with experience working with PHP & MySQL.
The position requires custom programming skills, problem solving abilities, and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking a web project from the development phase to the final product and in most cases implementing a specific solution for content management.
Responsibilities:
- Working with a team to create compelling and cutting edge web sites and web applications.
- Responsible for turning html design and user interface mockups into functional web sites.
- Custom programming and web application development.
- Testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing client sites.
Job Skills:
- Ideal candidates must have experience with HTML, CSS, PHP & MySQL at a minimum.
- A solid understanding of new technologies, practices and principles on the web
- JavaScript, especially AJAX
- XML
- Wordpress and similar CMS systems would be good assets.
- eCommerce integration
- Strong work ethic and care with confidential issues
- GUI design abilities would be a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and problem solve
- Minimum 2 to 3 yrs. experience
- Recent and Future College graduates are eligible based on work quality & experience
