Line dancing, country western partner dancing and ballroom dance will all be offered beginning March 25 at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
A series of six classes, they will be held in the Deli area of the Jewell Student Center beginning Monday, March 25, and will run each Monday through April 29. Well-known dance instructor Shari Augustine will teach each of the classes.
Line Dancing (6-6:55 p.m., $36) – A wide variety of new and classic line dances that will increase heart rates and fitness levels.
Country-Western Partner Dancing (7-7:55 p.m., $36/per person) – An introductory course to fun Country-Western dancing, instruction will include the popular country two-step and polka, graceful country waltz, country cha-cha, the exciting East Coast Swing and sensual West Coast Swing. For couples only.
Ballroom Dance (8-8:55 p.m., $36 per person) – Instruction in the basic steps in ballroom dances which may include waltz, tango, foxtrot, rumba, cha-cha and swing along with dance floor etiquette, lead and follow techniques and dance positions while practicing. For couples only.
