The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department has a man in custody for this morning's homicide on the 3100 Block of S. 63rd Street.
Tyler L. Manis, 20 years old, was shot and killed in the area early Thursday morning.
In a morning news release, the KCKPD announced that alcohol may have been involved or connected to the shooting.
Meanwhile, the KCKPD has announced this afternoon that a "white male in his 20's" is currently in custody.
He's expected to be formally charged soon, according to a police news release.
