The advanced features and techniques of word processing will be the focus of a Microsoft Word Level 2 class to be offered at Kansas City Kansas Community College beginning Tuesday, March12.
A five-week course, it will be offered from 6-9 p.m. each Tuesday through April, 16 with the exception of March 19. Instructed by Larry Cicero, the class will be held in Room 3620 in the Flint Building on the KCKCC campus at 7250 State Avenue.
Using Microsoft’s full-featured word processing program that is part of Microsoft 2010, students will use a hands-on approach to learn the tasks of creating templates, company newsletters, brochures and manuals. Additionally, students will learn to create a form letter and use the mail merge feature of Word 2010.
The cost of the five-week course is $75 and includes textbook. Students should bring a flash drive to the first night of class.
