Piper High School
The Piper High School Forensics team finished in third place in last weekend's tournament at Olathe South High School.
Several teammates earned nice finishes at the event:
- Jerry Manan, who's a state-qualifier, finished first place in the poetry competition. (already State qualified)
- Prose: Carley Zwart (2nd-place and State qualified), Taylor Smith (3rd-place) and Kayla Jones (4th-place).
- Duet Acting: Jerry Manan and Kayla Jones (1st place and state-qualified ) and Taylor Smith and Chris Schneider, 3rd place
- Improvised Duet Acting: Rebecca and Kayla Onstott (2nd place and State Qualified), Carley Zwart and Chris Schneider (3rd place), Jared Winzer and Taylor Smith (4th place), and Jerry Manan and Kayla Jones (5th place).
