National Weather Service: KCK received at least 11 inches of snow
According to the National Weather Service, the Kansas City metro area had its strongest snow storm since 1993 and the fifth largest snow storm recorded in the month of February.
Kansas City International airport officially measured 9.2 inches, the most snowfall recorded since Feb. 25, 1993.
Kansas City, Kan., meanwhile, received at least 11 inches of snow, according to one spotter who reported the number to them.
During one point in the storm, portions of the metro area received 3 inches of snow in just an hour of time.
