Larnario Stayton, who was previously charged with second degree murder and aggravated battery, can add a few more charges to his resume.
Stayton was charged this afternoon with aggravated robbery, battery on a correctional officer and aggravated escape from custody as a result of his alleged attempt to escape police custody earlier this week.
A Kansas City, Kan., resident, Stayton's bond for the new case has been set at $500,000.
He is currently in custody inside the Wyandotte County Jail.
He is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
