“Get Wired!,” the unique sculpturing class creating stunning new wire art work, will be offered at Kansas City Kansas Community College on back-to-back Saturdays March 2 and 9.
The class, which will teach participants how to bend one continuous wire into small wire sculptures and decorative ornaments, will be held from 9 a.m.-noon each Saturday in the Community Education Building on the east side of the KCKCC campus at 7250 State Avenue.
Taught by Mike Ning, participants will learn how to create pieces of artwork that can be shaped according to personal styles.
Supplies needed for the first session are a small spool of 16-gauge black wire, a small spool of 16-gauge wire of any color and a pair of needle nose pliers.
