The new owners of the Legends Shopping Outlet will be the New York-based KKR Real Estate company.
The move is expected to be announced formally on Monday. The company placed a winning bid of $131.5 million.
RED Legacy, a partner with KKR Real Estate, will be the operating partner of The Legends Shopping Outlet. When The Legends was launched, RED was the original developer of the outdoor shopping mall.
The auction took over six hours to complete.
