Ribbon-cutting planned for new Quindaro development

Community Development is hosting a ribbon cutting and open house ceremony tomorrow afternoon, Quindaro Development Wednesday, Dec. 5th from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. to celebrate construction of residential homes on Quindaro Blvd.

The homes are part of the NSP3 residential development program aimed at eliminating abandoned, foreclosed and tax delinquent property in targeted areas. Housing and Urban Development mandated the use of a mapping tool directed the program to the area of 10th through 27th streets along Quindaro Blvd.
