The second annual KCK Preps Fall Sports Awards show was held Saturday at The Legends Theatre.
Wyandotte County's best football players, volleyball players and cross-country athletes were honored at the event.
Piper football was the big winner of the afternoon, as eight separate players received awards. Piper Pirates head coach Chris Brindle received the KCK Preps Coach of the Year award for the second straight year, while Pirates linebacker Colton Beebe received the KCK Preps Defensive Player of the Year.
Turner Golden Bears quarterback Paul Berry won the KCK Preps Offensive Player of the Year award.
