The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department is investigating a homicide in the area of 43rd and Parallel Parkway.
At around noon on Saturday, the department responded to a shots fired call at the location. When arriving, police discovered an individual who was shot.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Police describe the man as a "black male in his 30's." However, no identification will be released until the family is notified.
Officers are asking the public for help on the case.
