A Kansas City, Kan., student was taken to the hospital following a bus accident on Thursday night.
The bus was involved in a three-car accident, the cause of which remains under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department.
The accident happened at around 38th Street and Leavenworth Road; police reported to the scene at approximately 5 p.m.
One of the occupants of a separate vehicle involved in the crash suffered critical injuries. The student involved in the accident is expected to recover.
According to KCTV 5, the bus in question was taking students home from Eisenhower Middle School.
