KCK board honors top employees
The Kansas City, Kan., Board of Education recently honored three of its top employees.
Pat Santovo, Dave Ivory and Jerry Belk are delivery truck drivers for the Kansas City, Kan., Public Schools District.
Here was the nomination letter written for them:
“Pat, Dave and Jerry, district truck drivers are some of the most accommodating, courteous, helpful and efficient employees we at the Integrated Arts Resource Center (IARC) deal with on, if not daily, a weekly basis. Our department, Art, Music and PE, use their services all year long. Moving the heavy, bulky music risers, someone needs 3-5 sections, art display board moved in and out regularly and large PE equipment must be moved by trucks also. They are careful moving the expensive musical instruments and lift and tote hundreds of them with their usual pleasant demeanor. They juggle all the other delivery work orders while accommodating our “emergency” deliveries or pick-ups. We are proud to nominate these three men as employees of the month”.
----Sincerely, Dottie Novak, secretary, Crystal Jacobs, secretary, Jean Ney, director of IARC, and the ‘crew’ at the IARC.
