The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department released the identities of the two individuals killed in last week's murder-suicide.
Gabriel Valedivia, 27, was shot to death last Thursday morning near a home in the 2300 Block of S. Mill Street.
Hours later, 31-year-old Michael Brothers was found dead inside of a home that police had surrounded, believing the individual was connected to Valedivia's death.
Police said it appeared Brothers had committed suicide.
Both Brothers and Valedivia were KCK residents.
