Reardon Convention Center to host job fair September 18

If you're looking for employment, the Opportunities 2012 Job Fair and Resource Expo is the place to be on Tuesday, September 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jack Reardon Convention Center located at 5th and Minnesota Ave. in Kansas City, Kansas.

The first hour will be dedicated exclusively to military veterans from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The job fair will be open to the general public from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Jobseekers should bring their resume and will have the opportunity to connect with employers at the job fair. There is no cost to employers or job seekers. 

Parking is free.

The event is being sponsored by the Hilton Garden Inn, GFI Digital Inc., Employer Support for National Guard & Reservists (ESGR), GFI Digital Inc., Kansas City, Kansas Community College and Technical Education Center, KANSASWORKS, Unified Government, and Workforce Partnership.

Last year, as many as 1,200 job seekers attended and 70 employers participated in the event.
