PHOTO: Truck fire causes lane closure; UPDATE: Ramp back open
The southbound Interstate 635 to westbound Interstate 70 ramp has been closed due to a semi trailer containing multiple trucks caught on fire.
The fire spilled into the grass near the area, forcing the closure of the ramp.
Kansas Department of Transportation officials are hoping to re-open the ramp by 6 p.m. Thursday evening.
No one was injured.

UPDATE 4:38 p.m. - According to KDOT, the ramp is back open, so traffic flow should not be a concern for the area outside of the typical rush hour experience coming back home.
