Kansas Sen. Kelly Kultala (D-KS) has been hired by the Piper School District.
According to the school district's newsletter, she will serve as the new communications and development coordinator.
Kultala, currently running for reelection to the Kansas Senate, is returning to the Piper School District.
She previously served as a member of the Piper Board of Education. She was also a Unified Government Board of Commissioner member. She will handle communications issues for the school district.
Kultala is running against Republican Steve Fitzgerald.
