KCKPD asking for community's help in identifying woman
The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department is asking the community's help in identifying a woman pictured in a surveillance photo.
Pictured in the photo is a woman Kansas City, Kan., police officers want to speak with regarding the Aug. 11 shooting that wounded a 4-year-old boy.
The woman is described by police as a white woman who haves "pulled back" and "black" hair.
The shooting happened near 17th Street and Parallel Parkway. Individuals in two separate vehicles were shooting at each other. One of those bullets hit a boy in the stomach, along with someone who was attempting to protect the child.
It's unknown if the woman is a suspect - the police department only wants to speak with her.
